Hi! I’m Amber and welcome to The Knowledge Nest!

I am a former classroom teacher who chose to homeschool when public school was not meeting our needs. I was seeking an education filled with hands-on activities, travel, and experiential learning for my kids, not just rote memorization. With this unique perspective, I am so excited to offer a hybrid learning environment where students engage in core classes like science, history, writing, book studies, and electives taught by experienced educators who guide and support their learning.

Our structured classes provide the benefits of community and consistency, similar to a traditional school, while still offering flexibility and individualization. In addition, our homeschool co-op elements empower families to play an active role in their child’s education. Families participate in project-based activities, hands-on learning experiences, and group events, fostering collaboration and creativity.

This model strikes a balance, giving students the opportunity to benefit from professional teaching in core subjects, while also allowing them the freedom to explore their own interests at their own pace. We believe in creating an enriching educational experience that nurtures curiosity, independence, and a love for learning.
