What does the schedule look like at The Knowledge Nest?
The Knowledge Nest is a homeschool co-op designed to foster a collaborative and enriching learning environment. We meet twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Westerville, Ohio, offering families the flexibility to attend either one or both days.
Our preschool program provides a consistent classroom setting where young learners engage in hands-on exploration and play-based learning. For students in grades K-8, we offer a dynamic schedule with two class options per period, depending on the availability of elective courses. These electives are a vital part of our program and rely on the expertise of parents, community members, and industry professionals to provide a well-rounded educational experience.
High school students follow a structured block schedule for core subjects, with a limited selection of additional electives. However, they have the opportunity to join middle school electives or take on leadership roles by assisting or leading classes for younger students, fostering mentorship and real-world teaching experience.
Our goal is to create an engaging, community-driven learning environment where students can thrive academically and socially while benefiting from the strengths and knowledge of the homeschool community.
